The Silesian University of Technology as a partner of Łukasiewicz Innovatorium
Horizon Europe - will be the prior theme of this year's Łukasiewicz Innovatorium, which will be held on Thursday (9 June) in Poznań. The Silesian University of Technology is a substantive partner of the event, and one of the speakers will be the Vice-Rector for Science and Development, Professor Marek Pawełczyk.
Łukasiewicz Innovatorium is the biggest R&D event in Poland. This year's primary theme will be Horizon Europe - under the new research and development programme the European Commission has allocated as much as 95 billion euros for entrepreneurs and scientists. With this amount, Horizon Europe becomes the largest programme supporting R&D in the world.
Key themes of the Innovatorium include offshore wind energy, modular construction, gallium nitride-based technologies, electromobility, unmanned aerial vehicles, hydrogen economy, biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
The programme of the event includes over 30 panels and sessions. Professor Marek Pawełczyk, representing the Silesian University of Technology, will participate in the panel entitled "How to do R&D in Poland?". Director of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer (CITT), Magdalena Letun-Łątka, PhD, will also attend the event.
