On July the 2nd , 2025, an agreement was signed between the Silesian University of Technology and the Critical Applications company. It was signed by Vice Rector for Collaboration with Civic and Economic Environment Dr Hab. Eng. Marcin Staniek, Prof. SUT and the President of the Management Board of the Critical Applications Company, Mr. Sebastian Lasek.
Critical Applications is a special purpose company of the State Treasury, performing tasks involving computerization of government administration departments.
- We are a company created to build applications for the benefit of the Ministry of Finance – says Sebastian Lasek, President of the Board of the Company. We are very pleased with the agreement signed with the Silesian University of Technology. I hope that thanks to this we will gain access to a wide range of students of the Silesian University of Technology, and at the same time scientific staff, and we will be able to solve very interesting projects related to the construction of applications and modern solutions for the Ministry of Finance.
Critical Applications Company creates such projects as e-TOLL, e-Tax Office or e-PIT. These are solutions that support the digital transformation of the country.
