The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology with an important role in the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP)

Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Marek Pawełczyk, the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, became chairman of the International Affairs Committee at CRASP.

During the first meeting of the Presidium of the ninth term of CRASP, new chairpersons of the permanent committees were appointed for the next four-year term. They will also join the Presidium at the same time.

New Chairpersons of CRASP:

• IT Infrastructure Committee: Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, 
• Accreditation and Rankings Committee: Prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk, Rector of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, 
• Economic Committee: Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Rector of the University of Economics in Katowice 
• Innovation and Cooperation with Business Committee: Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw,
• Communications and Social Responsibility Committee: Prof. Roman Cieślak, Rector of SWPS University,
• Education Committee: Prof. Sylwester Tabor, Rector of the Hugo Kołłątaj University of Agriculture in Krakow,
• Science Committee: Prof. Teofil Jesionowski, Rector of Poznan University of Technology, 
• Organization and Legislation Committee: Prof. Piotr Jedynak, Rector of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow,
• Academic Sports Committee: Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology,
• International Affairs Committee: Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, Rector of the Silesian University of Technology.
