The recruitment for fourth term of office of the Youth Climate Council is open
Until August 2nd, 2026, the recruitment for the Youth Climate Council at the Minister of Climate and Environment is ongoing. Candidates may be persons who are at least 18 years old on the date of announcement of the call (12th of June 2026) and at the same time under the age of 27.
The Youth Climate Council is an auxiliary body operating at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The tasks of the Youth Climate Council are:
- Provide opinions on policy making, strategies and legislative changes in the climate and environment, including proposals for solutions.
- Promoting pro-ecological attitudes among young people.
- Raising awareness and knowledge of young people in the field of climate and environment.
The Council is composed of between 16 and 26 young people from different backgrounds, and the common goal of all Council members is active climate protection. The Youth Climate Council is a platform for discussion, exchange of experiences, demands, and ideas among young people from all over Poland.
Who can be a candidate?
Candidates may be persons who are at least 18 years old on the date of announcement of the call (12th of June 2026) and at the same time under the age of 27. The term of office of the Council shall be two years.

To take part in the call, you should fill in the Application Form available on the website of the Ministry of Climate and Environment (MKiŚ) in the tab of the Youth Climate Council (MRK).
