The practical mechatronics workshop final
A series of workshops on practical mechatronics officially ended on 9 June. The classes were carried out as part of the project "The Silesian University of Technology as a Centre for Advanced Education based on Research and Innovation" and were conducted by Adam Mańka PhD, Eng. from the Department of Railway Transport, the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology.
The workshop, titled: Building an “intelligent” 4WD mobile robot with “omni” wheels controlled by phone addressed not only to electricians or software developers, introduced the participants to the world of mechatronics and robot construction. The participants created mobile robots for special applications controlled by a phone.
After the workshop, participants curious about the world of technology received their diplomas confirming the acquired knowledge and practical skills in the field of mechatronics. There was also a unique display of the completed works which took place at the Student Career Office.
