The POB1 Seminar

On November 26th, the next meeting of POB1 Computational Oncology and Personalized Medicine will take place. Prof. Paweł Moskal from the Institute of Physics of the Jagiellonian University will be the guest at the seminar.

The professor will present a lecture on the latest medical imaging system - positron emission tomography. Prof. Moskal received a prestigious ERC grant for its research this year, allowing him to verify the possibility of using the measurement of the degree of quantum entanglement of annihilation photons to assess tissue oxygenation, which would allow for non-invasive assessment of malignancy of cancer lesions.
