The James Dyson Award competition is open

James Dyson is looking for ideas that will change the world with a new international competition for engineering students. The call will last until July 17th, 2024. Young engineers can now submit their innovative inventions to solve pressing, real problems.

Open to all students and recent graduates in engineering and design, the competition aims to select ambitious projects that address global issues – from cancer diagnosis to natural disasters.

It was founded in 2005 and has already supported more than four hundred young inventors with cash prizes of over £1 million. In addition, two-thirds of the global winners have continued to commercialize their ideas.

The international winner and the winning project in the Sustainable Development category will win a prize of PLN 151 400 this year for the development of their inventions.

However, the amount of PLN 25 200 will be given to each national winner in all thirty locations where the competition takes place.
