Dear students, would you like to gain practical experience, attractive financial awards and go to a prestigious conference in Europe? Take part in the nationwide competition “The Circular Shift: Business Reinvented” organized as part of Circular Week 2025!

The organizer is the Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development (INNOWO). The competition is under the honorary patronage of the Silesian University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw School of Economics, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, University of Warsaw, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw and ING Bank Śląski.

Why is it worth taking part?

• A real impact on the future – your idea can change the way global corporations function and contribute to a more sustainable economy.
• Practical experience – face a challenge that combines knowledge from different fields, develops analytical, presentation and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge from experts – you will get access to free online workshops conducted by practitioners of circular economy.
• Presentation on the main stage – the best project will be presented at the European Sustainability Congress as part of Circular Week 2025.
• Financial prizes – the winners will receive cash prizes: 5 000 PLN for first place, 3 000 PLN for second place and 2 000 PLN for third place.
• Trip to the international conference – the winning team will also receive an invitation to the prestigious conference in Brussels – EU Stakeholder Forum Europe at the beginning of 2025, where they will be able to present their project to industry leaders, experts, and representatives of the European Commission.

 What to do to participate in the competition?

• Gather an interdisciplinary team or apply individually – we will help you find a team from now until July 31, 2025
• Take part in inspiring online workshops.
• Develop an innovative circular transformation strategy for a selected (or imaginary) corporation.
• Submit your presentation by October 10, 2025
• Get the chance to participate in the grand finale on November 4, 2025, at Circular Week – in the presence of international experts and market leaders.
