The Centre for Modern Education invites to a series of trainings
Registration for a series of trainings organized by the Centre for Modern Education of the Silesian University of Technology is under way. The trainings are devoted to modern teaching tools and methods and the use of digital technologies in the education process. This is an excellent opportunity to enrich your academic workshop and learn about innovative methods of engaging students.

✔ Microsoft 365 Copilot in didactics – 29.03.2025 (10:00-15:00)
✔ Interactive content in PowerPoint – 05.04.2025 (10:00-15:00)
✔ Design of asynchronous courses – online: 12.04.2025 (11:00-13:15) | on-site: 26.04.2025 (10:00-15:00)
✔ Microsoft Teams in didactics and cooperation – 17.05.2025 (10:00-15:00)
✔ Game-based learning and digital textbooks in Minecraft Education – online: 10.05.2025 (11:00-12:30), 7.06.2025 (10:00-11:30) | on-site: 24.05.2025 (10:00-15:00), 14.06.2025 (10:00-15:00)
Organization
Training takes place on-site (Silesian University of Technology Library) or on-site and online.
There is a possibility to participate in selected workshops or the whole cycle.
Number of places is limited – maximum 20 people per training!
Free participation for employees of the Silesian University of Technology and participants of the F2S project.

The workshops will be led by Dr Stefan Nowicki
Digital competency trainer of academic teachers, instructional designer, graduate of the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (Online Learning Consortium & Washington State University). Certified Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist, Word Expert and Minecraft Trainer. He combines work with passion, improving methodology and conducting courses for lecturers from Microsoft Office, Moodle, and Minecraft Education.
