The Academic Consortium - Katowice City of Science invites to the Student Day
The Mayor of the City of Katowice, Dr Marcin Krupa, and the Rectors of the Academic Consortium – Katowice City of Science invite everybody to participate in the Student Day, which will take place on Monday the 17th of November 2025 in “spinPLACE” (5, Bankowa Street, Katowice).
In addition to many attractions, the competition “Invent the future. Katowice City of Science of the Future.” will be inaugurated.
The meeting on the occasion of the International Student Day will start at 10:30 with a unique “Pizza with Rectors – breakfast for students.” In a relaxed atmosphere you will be able to ask Rectors or Vice Rectors about the most pressing issues and raise the most important concerns.
At 11:00 a.m., the competition “Invent the future. Katowice City of Science of the Future” – an initiative that continues the heritage of the European City of Science Katowice 2024, which last year changed the face of Silesia, connecting the world of science, culture and local communities will be inaugurated. It is a project in which the combination of science, technology and social engagement inspires to co-create the future. We will also listen to the debate of Mentors – experts in their fields - among whom there is Dr Hab. Aleksandra Kuzior, Prof. SUT, Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management - on the future of the City of Science.
