The 8th Electronic Media Law Forum
Current issues related to digital courts, the use of data in industry 4.0, tokenization in the digital economy, as well as combating child sexual abuse on the Internet - these are some of the topics that will be addressed during the 8th Electronic Media Law Forum.
The event will take place on September 28th at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The organizer is the Cyber Science Centre, which (along with the University of Silesia, the University of Economics and the state research institute NASK) is co-created by the Silesian University of Technology. Our University is also a Scientific Partner of the Forum.
The 8th Electronic Media Law Forum is a nationwide scientific conference devoted to legal issues of electronic media and new technologies. This year, it will be held in Katowice for the first time. The event is planned to be held in a hybrid model. On-site participants will be able to take part in workshops prepared by the partners of the event: Asseco Data Systems, Samsung Electronics Polska and Microsoft.

The meeting will be broadcast online on the UŚ YouTube channel. In order to participate in the forum stationary, you must complete the registration form.
The day before (on September 27th) there will take place the 7th Young Electronic Media Law Forum, which will be attended by students, doctoral students and young practitioners in the field of new technologies. The meeting will be held online via the MS Teams platform.
