On the 21^st – 24^th   September this year, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology, the 69^th edition of the Krynica Scientific Conference of the Committee on Civil Engineering and Water Management of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Science Committee of PZITB will take place.

The official opening of the event will take place on Sunday 21^st of September at 17:00 in the auditorium 118 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology.

A unique highlight of the program will be the inaugural lecture entitled “CPK Strategy and Development Directions in the Light of the New European Bauhaus assumptions”, which will be delivered by Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Dariusz Kowalski, Coordinator for Educational Projects and Director of the Relations and Real Estate Division of CPK. It will be a unique opportunity to listen to an expert involved in one of the largest infrastructure projects in Poland and learn about his vision of development in the context of modern European trends.

For years, the Krynica Scientific Conference has been combining tradition with modernity, integrating the academic and engineering environment from all over the country. This event creates a space for exchanging experiences, presenting the latest research results, and discussing the challenges and directions of development of modern construction.
