The 20th edition of the Autumn Engineering Job and Entrepreneurship Fair at the Silesian University of Technology
How to find a dream job, develop competences valued by employers or take the first steps in business? Answers to these questions will be found during the 20th edition of the Autumn Engineering Job and Entrepreneurship Fair, which will take place on October 19th at the Silesian University of Technology. This is a great opportunity to get to know potential employers, establish valuable contacts and consciously plan your career path.
The event will take place on October 19th, from 9.00 to 15.00 in the “Nowa” Hall of the Sports Centre of the Silesian University of Technology at 28, Kaszubska Street in Gliwice. The fair is addressed to students and graduates, research employees of the Silesian University of Technology and other universities, as well as secondary school pupils who are faced with the choice of further educational and professional path.
The Autumn Engineering Job and Entrepreneurship Fair is a space where the world of science, business, and the labour market meet. Participants will be able to establish direct contact with companies looking for new talents, learn about current expectations of employers and learn more about professional development and running their own business.
Among the exhibitors will be companies interested in acquiring qualified employees, specialist knowledge, and innovative solutions from the academic environment. Labor market institutions, career offices, technology and entrepreneurship centres, student organizations, science clubs, and entities supporting academic entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity to present their offers. There will also be organizations and associations working for people with disabilities, people with special needs and those in a more difficult life situation.
The program of the fair takes into account the challenges of the modern labour market, including the importance of specialist knowledge, social and professional competences, and social responsibility in the face of digital transformation, sustainable development, and the development of the green economy.
There will also be accompanying events and initiatives that will allow participants to look at professional development from different perspectives. In the Fair Advisory Zone, it will be possible to ask for the support of labour market experts and business advisors. Job Wall will give participants access to the classified ads area, making it easier for them to search for interesting offers and career opportunities.
The program also includes a meeting “TOGETHER TO THE DIPLOMA. Modern consulting in education, university, and labour market,” devoted to issues related to educational and professional counselling. An important element of the event will also be social initiatives: Blood donation campaign and collection of donations for the Hospice in Gliwice.
