Technical Universities Forum will take place in Gliwice

Representatives of Student Self-Goverments of Technical Universities will meet in Gliwice. The Technical Universities Forum (TUF) begins on the 24th of February. The meeting is organised by TUF and the Student Self-Government of the Silesian University of Technology.

Technical Universities Forum is a repeating event held on a national scale. During the congress Representatives of Self-Governments of Technical Universities have an opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of self-government activities, as well as to meet and integrate. A regular element of the Forum are trainings in various areas of activity, as well as working sessions during which activities undertaken on a national scale by representatives of Technical Universities are discussed.

"The Technical Universities Forum, held at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, is undoubtedly a distinction, as it creates an opportunity to present the systems of activity and teaching within the framework of the only one Research University in Silesia. Agenda includes not only training, but also presentation of the campus and the city. This year, the official opening of the congress will be held in a place identified with our region - Łaźnia Łańcuszkowa in Zabrze" says Paulina Odlanicka-Poczobutt from the Student Self-Government of the Silesian University of Technology.

The Technical Universities Forum will include training sessions on self-government recruitment, student rights, event organisation and project team management. A working session of the Presidium of the Technical Universities Forum is also planned, which will be held in a blended form - live broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Silesian University of Technology. TUF will last until the 27th of February 2022.
