TechGliwice - a forum connecting IT experts
On April the 16th, 2026, the second edition of the TechGliwice event will take place in Technopark Gliwice. The success of the first edition of the initiative confirmed the growing importance of Gliwice as one of the key technological centres in the region and the need to create a space for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the area of new technologies.
TechGliwice is a cyclical forum bringing together IT experts, innovative entrepreneurs, and the scientific community. The event is a platform for presenting practical solutions and discussing the most important technological trends, such as artificial intelligence, development of digital products or modern business models.
The second edition of the event develops the formula initiated in February, offering participants an even more extensive substantive program, the opportunity to establish valuable business relationships and direct contact with technology industry practitioners.
The program of the event includes, among others, a discussion panel devoted to the role of artificial intelligence in the humanities, expert presentations on real challenges of AI implementations and a dynamic short stories session, in which practitioners will share their experiences in the area of new technologies and business development. The agenda also includes issues related to foreign expansion and the role of the state in the development of the gamedev industry, and the whole event will be crowned with networking conducive to establishing valuable relationships.
The host of the meeting is the Science and Technology Park “TECHNOPARK GLIWICE” Sp. Z o.o. – a modern business support centre that has been supporting startups and technology companies in the development and commercialization of innovative solutions for years.
The high importance of the event is emphasized by the fact that TechGliwice – as a cyclical initiative – is covered by the Honorary Patronage of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, Mayor of Gliwice Katarzyna Kuczyńska-Budka, Dean of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Dariusz Kania, President of the Board of the Katowice Special Economic Zone Dr Hab. Rafał Żelazny, Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts Grzegorz Hańderek and the Student Self-Government of the Silesian University of Technology.
The event is organized as part of the project “PPO WSL 2030. Creation of a Regional Innovation Observatory,” co-financed by the European Union.
