Take part in NASA's space hackathon!
The Silesian University of Technology is the academic patron of this year's edition of NASA Space Apps Challenge Stalowa Wola 2024 – the largest space hackathon in Europe. The event will take place on October 5th and 6th in Stalowa Wola. We invite you to participate in this initiative.
Ahead of us is the largest space hackathon in Europe, of which the Silesian University of Technology is a partner. NASA Space Apps Challenge Stalowa Wola 2024 is aimed at space and space engineering enthusiasts. This is a unique opportunity to meet experts from the space and innovation industry. Participation in this event guarantees the opportunity to benefit from the expert care of mentors and specialists such as Maciej Kawecki and John F. Hall from NASA.
The Space Apps Challenge is a two-day, free event focused on inspiring and supporting creative minds. Participants will be tasked with answering one of thirty challenges, using NASA databases and the help of mentors.
The tasks cover a wide range of areas from graphics and art to simple game creation and coding. Participants can work alone or in teams. The best projects will be awarded prizes, and the prize pool amounts to approximately PLN 60,000.
Participants are provided with accommodation, meals, gifts and many additional attractions.
