SZTOS Creative Sprint is an event that challenges the participants to explore the cooperation between human and AI in the creative process. Registration is open to teams who want to create a project and take part in interesting meetings. The event will take place on June 11.

Creative Sprint is organized as part of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) festival of the European Commission. The project involves conducting an interdisciplinary “creative sprint,” in which two approaches will compete: traditional (art, image) and modern using AI.

The event will take place on 11 June from 10:00-15:00 at the Lukasiewicz Institute – AI at 31, Leopolda Street in Katowice.

Teams (3-5-person) can apply to create projects that allow to explore the limits of human creativity in comparison with AI capabilities.

Participants will be given the main task. During the event, team members will be invited to lectures, mini-games and an expert debate, which will aim to highlight to them the topics discussed in the main task and during the event, e.g. ResponsibleAI responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, due to e.g. environmental costs, AI applications useful for society, the impact of generative artificial intelligence on the art and media economy).

During the lecture, in order not to interrupt the work on the main task, the selected team member will be able to continue the project work, the rest in turn will gain knowledge directly from lectures, debates and expert speeches on the occasion of mini-games (recognize AI, creating illustrations in teams: man and machine vs man & man, Kahoot).

From 14:30:00, a presentation session is planned – the teams will present the concept of the main task.

The organizers foresee prizes for the most creative teams with the best synergy; scoring will be based on final speeches and activity during the event.

Registration is carried out through the Microsoft forms platform (selection of the "Team registration" path).

The event will start with the registration of participants from 9:30-10:00.
