SUT students awarded for computer game projects
We are pleased to inform that students of the Silesian University of Technology were awarded during the finals of the 17th competition for Team Computer Game Development in Lodz (ZTGK 2025). This year, the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology was represented by as many as four teams of students of the specialization “Interactive Three-dimensional Graphics” and the Science Club “Games, Rendering and Development.”
Four teams from the Silesian University of Technology started for this year’s competition of computer game development in Lodz:
· “Generic Name Studio” with the game "Glitch Reboot" composed of: Michał Pokrzywa, Andrzej Sułkowski, Wojciech Omelańczuk, Jakub Ferens and Wiktoria Marczyk.
· “Placeholders” with the game "Knot Fun" composed of: Wojciech Owczarek, Bartłomiej Gordon, Mateusz Górecki, Julia Wróbel, Julia Bugaj, Maks Kisiel and Samir Abu Safieh.
· “The Lucrative College of Barnaba’s” with the game "Grotto" composed of: Jakub Dzadz and Michał Pokrzywa.
· “Crunchy Catnip” with the game "Félicette: Space Puzzle" consisting of: Natalia Malejka, Piotr Buchner, Adrian Zaręba and Jakub Mądry.
The Team “Lucrative College of Barnaba’s” for the game "Grotto" received an award from Activision Elsewhere, CD Projekt RED and Render Cube, and the “Placeholders” team for the game "Knot Fun" from Render Cube.
