Summary of the Chinese language course

In the summer semester of the current academic year, the Centre for Modern Education (CSC) and the College of Studies completed a Chinese language course for employees of the Silesian University of Technology. The course was addressed to everyone interested in learning this language.

As part of the course, classes were held for the beginner group and advanced group, in which nearly 40 employees participated.

Classes were conducted in a contact way by a native speaker, Mrs. Sitong Adler, in Polish and Chinese. They enjoyed great interest of participants who passionately and with great interest explored the secrets of Chinese language and culture.

In June, an integration meeting took place, summarizing the course. It was also an opportunity to get to know more about culture, Chinese traditions, as well as culinary specialties. In addition, there was a “tai-chi” show and a workshop of joint making of Chinese dumplings. The meeting created an opportunity for informal conversations and even deeper immersion in Chinese culture. During the event, the participants received certificates confirming participation in workshops improving language competences.
