Success of the Silesian University of Technology at the International Fair of Inventions and Innovation INTARG®2025
Two platinum medals and three silver medals as well as the Award of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys - inventions of scientists of the Silesian University of Technology awarded during the International Fair of Invention and Innovation INTARG®2025. Our University has also received the Honorary Ambassador of Polish Science and Invention Award for its special activity in promoting Polish science on the international arena in 2024. The honorary chairman of the International Jury of INTARG®2025 was the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Marek Pawełczyk.
During this year’s edition of the fair Silesian University of Technology presented 6 inventions.
- “Participation in such events is extremely important for scientists, for their development and appreciation of their achievements. It is also a motivation for both the researchers themselves, their collaborators, and the University itself” - said the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Marek Pawełczyk.
We are a technical university that has always played a key role in the development of Polish industry. It is important that the solutions and innovations created at the Silesian University of Technology are appreciated and awarded at such events as the International Fair of Inventions and Innovation. This is an opportunity to promote them on the international arena – emphasized the Rector.
Participation in the event was coordinated by the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology.

At the International Fair of Inventions and Innovation INTARG®2025 also students presented their works. In the area of young inventors – SKN HIGH FLYERS – showed its drone, while SKN Silesian Phoenix – a Mars rover.
