Success of PhD student of Silesian University of Technology

MSc Eng. Anna Wolny, PhD student from the Department of Chemical Organic Technology and Petrochemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Silesian University of Technology, together with Oliwia Degórska, PhD student at the Poznań University of Technology, took second place in the competition “Drive Innovation – Solutions for Sustainable Development” organized by BASF! The Project

The challenge was to propose a solution for one or more of the challenges related to the implementation of the selected Sustainable Development Goals.

The project “Biomaterials for green technologies” prepared by the MSc Eng. Anna Wolny and MSc Eng. Oliwia Degórska, was submitted as part of the inter-university cooperation. It highlights the key role of biomaterials in shaping future technologies for the chemical industry. The organizers of the competition emphasized the innovativeness of the project and the essence of the inter-university partnership in the development of science.
