Submit your activity to the 7^th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE. Applications will be accepted until March 12^th

Scientists, artists, science lovers - anyone who would like to share their scientific or artistic achievements with the audience can submit their activity to the 7^th  Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE. The event, which will take place in December, will be combined with the official start of the European City of Science 2024 celebrations. The call for activities lasts until March 12^th.

The seventh edition of Silesian Science Festival  will be held under the slogan "Science will give us a future".

Several novelties are planned for this year's edition of Silesian Science Festival . Among them, a special place is occupied by thematic paths of the City of Science, which are a response to the most important challenges and problems of the modern world. There will also be a greater reference to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (which is why the organizers encourage scientists submitting their activities to prepare them with the aim of achieving these goals).

There are also changes in the festival space. You will still be able to expect activities in the form of lectures, workshops, exhibitions, demonstration stands, etc., but there will be new forms of presenting knowledge, such as e.g. scene of young scientists, where we want to distinguish beginners and ambitious science enthusiasts (up to 35 years of age). Another change in the festival space will be a special zone dedicated to industrial diseases, with particular emphasis on this problem in Silesia.

In turn, recruitment to 7^th Silesian Science Festival  will differ from previous editions due to the introduction of an activity limit.

The applications will be accepted until March 12^th.
