Study at SUT! Recruitment starts on May 25th 

On May 25th, starts recruitment for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree studies at the Silesian University of Technology. The only Research University in Silesia offers over 50 faculties, including 18 in English. In that year’s offer it is worth paying attention to the majors: general engineering and aeronautical and aerospace engineering. 

The interdepartmental faculty of general engineering launched a year ago, is the only such faculty in Poland. These interdisciplinary studies cover various engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, chemical and aeronautical engineering. It is an ideal offer for those who are still uncertain in which direction they want to study or in which discipline they want to specialize in and need more time and information to consider all available options.

Aeronautical and aerospace is a one-of-the-kind course in Silesia. Its interdisciplinary nature gives students access to modern aerospace laboratories throughout the university; lecturers and experts from Poland and abroad teach classes. Teaching methods are relevant to the subject matter, and education largely relies on project-based learning (PBL).

At the Silesian University of Technology, you can also become a pilot! At the Silesian University of Technology, you can also become a pilot! The university operates The Civil Aviation Personnel Education Centre for Central and Eastern Europe, and within it, the Academic Aviation Training Center of the Silesian University of Technology (ATO) trains future pilots, e.g. at the airport in Gliwice. Moreover, in the field of transport, you can choose specialisations: Air Navigation – pilots or Mechanics and Aviation Operation.

Young people are very interested in dual degree courses, where students simultaneously gain academic knowledge and professional experience through close cooperation between the university and specific companies.

The Silesian University of Technology at 13 faculties, and the institute offers more than 50 faculties, including 18 in English. Studies are conducted both in full-time and part-time mode. Currently, there are over 17 thousand students at the Silesian University of Technology.

In its 77-year history, the Silesian University of Technology has already educated over 200,000 graduates. The Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice be the only one in Upper Silesia among the prestigious group of 10 Polish universities, winners of the competition "Initiative of excellence - research university".
