Students of The Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering in China
Michał Sujkowski and Eng. Adam Banaś, students of pilotage and aviation and space engineering, took part in an international scientific conference on aviation and transport in China.
The 2023 International Conference on Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (CAMME 2023) was held on May 26-28, 2023 in Xi'an. Students of the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering presented there the results of research on "The application of modern technologies in relation to selected aspects of international airport security", which they carried out at the Silesian University of Technology, in cooperation with students from foreign universities - Technical University in Košice and Eindhoven University of Technology.
They carry out their scientific works under the supervision of prof. Jarosław Kozuba, head of the Department of Air Transport and director of the Civil Aviation Personnel Training Center of Central and Eastern Europe.
Student trips to foreign, international scientific conferences are possible, among others, thanks to participation in a conceptual project entitled: “Best of the best! 4.0.” under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development, co-financed by the European Social Fund. The aim of the project is to support exceptionally talented students in the development of their scientific activity.
