Student competition #MissionInstallation – Environmental Engineering in 120 seconds
The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology invites students of technical universities to participate in the video competition #MissionInstallation – Environmental Engineering in 120 seconds.
The competition is addressed to students of first- and second-degree studies in the fields of sanitary, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, water-sewage, and gas installations.

The competition is addressed to students of faculties related to sanitary, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, water-sewage, and gas installations.
The Competition Task
The task of the participants is to prepare a short film (max. 120 seconds), which in an interesting, accessible, or humorous way will show the operation of technical installations in buildings and public spaces, such as:
- heating installations
- ventilation and air-conditioning systems
- water and sewage systems
- gas installations
The film should popularize knowledge in the field of environmental engineering and building installations. In the competition, the idea, content, and method of communication are the most important – the technical aspects of the recording will not be decisive.
Who can participate?
- Students of the first- and second-degree studies of technical universities in Poland,
- persons studying in the fields related to sanitary, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, water-sewage, or gas installations,
- participants can apply individually or in teams of up to 3 people.
Date and manner of application
- Deadline for submission of works: the 19th of April 2026.
- Applications should be sent from the university e-mail address to the following address: misjainstalacja@polsl.pl
The message shall be accompanied by:
- the competition film,
- current certificate confirming student status.
Awards
For the authors of the best works there are prizes in the form of vouchers worth:
I place – 2000 PLN
II place – 1700 PLN
III place – 1500 PLN
In addition, an audience award will be given, chosen by a vote on Instagram.
