“Strong Administration – the Foundation for the Development of the Silesian University of Technology”

The main objective of the project is:

Adapting the offer of the Silesian University of Technology as a subject of the higher education system to the needs of the development of the economy and green and digital transformation by strengthening the administrative capacity of the Silesian University of Technology within 36 months. The project will implement a comprehensive program of trainings aimed at improving administrative, management, digital competences in the field of green transformation and skills supporting scientific and didactic development of the academic environment.

Main actions: 

Support in the form of training in the field of:

1. management skills
2. green transition competences
3. digital competences
4. transversal competences

And the Eco-Leaders Program

Participants (regardless of gender and age) of the project are:
- Staff involved in the processes of administration of the University of Silesia
 - managerial staff of the Silesian University of Technology

Key results of the project

- Strengthening the administrative capacity of the Silesian University of Technology

- Increasing of competences among 260 administrative and management personnel of the Silesian University of Technology.

Thanks to the implementation of the project, the Silesian University of Technology will be better prepared to implement its educational, scientific and social mission in the conditions of changing economy and dynamic transformation processes and will gain highly qualified staff capable of effectively supporting processes at the University.

The total eligible expenditure of the project (total project costs) is:
2,982,644.60 PLN

The value of funding for the Silesian University of Technology: 2 893 165.26 PLN
of which: From European funds 2 461 278.32 PLN,

The Silesian University of Technology implements the project independently,
