Sports Day at the Silesian University of Technology

We invite students, employees, and university supporters to a unique event – the Sports Day at the Silesian University of Technology, which will take place on the 6th of May 2026.

The program includes numerous sports competitions, artistic presentations and activities integrating the academic community.

The official opening of the event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in the hall of the Sports Centre. The ceremony will be accompanied by artistic presentations. The Irish Dance Ensemble and Aleksandra Bednarz will perform.

At 10:00 a.m., one of the most spectacular attractions will start – “Running in a helmet” with the participation of several hundred women. The program also includes the Student Sports Festival and the Silesian University of Technology Championships in fourteen sports disciplines.

Sports Day at the Silesian University of Technology is not only a competition, but above all an opportunity to play together and actively spend time, promote physical activity, and build bonds in the academic environment.
