Silesian University of Technology on 4 DESIGN DAYS

The next edition of 4 DESIGN DAYS is ahead of us. From January 25th to 28th, architecture enthusiasts and others will meet at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. During the event, you will be able to meet scientists from the Silesian University of Technology and visit the stand where employees of the Faculty of Architecture will talk about their projects.

4 DESIGN DAYS is one of the largest events in Europe focused on the real estate, architecture, interior and design markets. For four days, the interior of the International Congress Centre will once again turn into a great arena for talks about architecture, design, real estate, urban development and sustainable design. The speakers, including top architects, designers and investors, will look for answers to questions such as: why do we surround ourselves with worthless things and have to put so much emphasis on the word "ecology"; where mistakes are made when designing things; or what should recycled design look like? There will be discussions about functional construction and ideas for buildings that are at risk of demolition.

Scientists from the Silesian University of Technology will also take part in discussions, debates and presentations.

The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, dr Eng. arch. Klaudiusz Fross, prof. SUT will take part in the debate on green urban revitalization, in turn, dr hab. engineer arch. Tomasz Bradecki, prof. SUT will present the Housing Estate Game prepared together with students of the Faculty of Architecture.

The plan also includes a discussion panel on architectural education, led by dr Krzysztof Groń.
