Silesian University of Technology joined the Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry
On the 1st of January, Silesian University of Technology became a member of the Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry, an engineering industry organization.
The Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry. deals primarily with technical standardization in the area of new technologies (including adaptation of infrastructure to energy transformation - requirements for hydrogen and biogas), moreover, it is the organizer of conferences and fairs and an economic mediator.
The Chamber associates companies active in the gas sector of the energy industry.
- The invitation of the Silesian University of Technology to the IGG ( Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry) is an expression of recognition of substantive competences and our constant cooperation with industry, and thanks to the presence in IGG the University will strengthen its recognition among industrial partners even more - explains Dr Eng. Wojciech Kostowski, Prof. SUT from the Department of Thermal Technology of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering.
