Silesian University of Technology is the leader of the consortium in the MSCA4Silesia project
The Silesian University of Technology, together with the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, is implementing the MSCA4Silesia project under the NAWA-MSCA Network Programme.
The aim of the project, entitled "Development of internationalisation through support for Polish entities and individual scientists from the Silesian and Opole regions in the application and implementation of MSCA grants in the EU Framework Programmes (MSCA4Silesia)", is to develop internationalisation by supporting the activities of higher education and research institutions in creating sustainable solutions for Polish applicants and beneficiaries of the "Maria Skłodowska-Curie" Action Programme (Horizon Europe) for 2025-2027.
As part of the project, two Stakeholder Support Points for the MSCA programme will be established (at the Silesian University of Technology and the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology), providing comprehensive assistance to Polish institutions and individual researchers from the regions of Upper and Lower Silesia as well as the Opole region, in applying for and implementing MSCA grants under the EU Framework Programmes.
Project participants (employees of the Silesian University of Technology and the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology) enhance their competences through participating in training, study visits, conferences, and by cooperating with stakeholders and other support networks. The established contacts will enable the transfer of knowledge and exchange of experience, supporting the quality of applications and implementation of MSCA projects.
The project is implemented under the NAWA-MSCA Network Programme, financed by the European Union through the European Funds for Social Development Programme 2021-2027 (FERS) as part of the project "Support for higher education and science institutions in providing services for foreigners as well as for Polish citizens going abroad", No. FERS.01.05.IP.08-0003/24.
The project manager is Katarzyna Markiewicz-Śliwa, MSc, Eng. The value of the project is PLN 1,991,728.00. It will be implemented from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2028.
