Silesian University of Technology invites you to ride a bike

“Bicycle Wednesdays with the Silesian University of Technology" are ahead of us. This is a unique action to encourage students and employees of the University, but also the inhabitants of the region to be physically active. The action starts on August 16.

There has never been such an action at the Silesian University of Technology. The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and the Continuing Education Centre - a branch of the Silesian University of Technology in Rybnik encourage you to participate in a joint cycling adventure. It starts next Wednesday, August 16 at 17. The organizers inform that the first bicycle trip will start from the Rybnik branch of the SUT at 54, Kosciuszko Street, Rybnik. The route will lead to the Kamień holiday resort.

The "Bicycle Wednesdays with the Silesian University of Technology" campaign is carried out as part of the project "AFTER COVID - popularization of science and sport as an element of the consequences of the CODID-19 pandemic" implemented at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering. The project is financed by the Ministry of Education and Science as part of the Social Responsibility of Science program.

As part of the cycling campaign at the Silesian University of Technology, cycling enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in joint bicycle trips until the end of October.

Cycling Wednesdays are scheduled for August 16, 22 and 30, September 9, 13, 20 and 27 and October 4, 11 and 18. On September 9, the Bicycle Rally of the Silesian University of Technology will take place, to which we cordially invite you today.
