Civil Engineering is the best in Poland, 8 other fields of study on the podium
In the 26th edition of the Perspektywy 2025 Higher Education Ranking, Silesian University of Technology was ranked among the top ten of the best academic universities in the country, while maintaining its position as a leader among the higher education institutions of the Silesian Voivodeship. On the podium there were as many as eight majors conducted at our University, of which the field of Civil Engineering was recognized as the best in Poland.
On Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, the Ranking of Higher Education Institutions - Perspektywy 2025 was published. The Silesian University of Technology is again the best academic university in Silesia. In the national ranking, the University moved up one place compared to last year and thus is in the top ten.
In the Technical Studies Ranking, 23 fields of study were assessed, 18 of them offered by the Silesian University of Technology, of which our University is on the podium in as many as eight on a national scale. The first place and the position of the national leader was taken by the field Civil Engineering, the second place was taken by the fields: Chemical Technology, Mining and Geology, while the in the third place the fields: Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Energy, Mechanical Engineering and Machine Technology and Biomedical Engineering were classified.
It is worth noting that 9 fields of study maintained their position from the previous year, 7 improved their position, and 2 slightly decreased.
