Silesian University of Technology at the Silesian Salon of Secondary School Leavers in Katowice
Presentation of the educational offer of academic universities for 2024/2025, lectures, meetings with experts from district examination boards and teachers about the Matura exam - these are the events of the Silesian Salon of Secondary School Leavers Perspektywy 2023. The Silesian University of Technology took part in the event.
The Silesian Salon of Secondary School Leavers Perspektywy 2023 was held for the 17th time. This year the event took place at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice. During the Salon, students of the last grades of high schools and technical schools in the Silesian Voivodeship could learn how to pass their final exams and plan their studies. The Silesian University of Technology also presented its offer during the event.
– We have to show our capabilities, especially since we do a lot, as we have seen in the recruitment results. Young people eagerly visit such events, so it is worth being here and presenting your educational offer - said prof. Wojciech Szkliniarz, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education.
More than 20 universities from all over the country present themselves at the Silesian Salon of Secondary School Leavers.
– We have also prepared lectures by experts from the District Examination Board on secondary school leaving exams in mathematics, history and English. There are also meetings with university representatives during which future students can find out where to study and where to live during their studies, so it is a compendium of knowledge in one place - said Andrzej Wyszyński from the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.
The Silesian Salon of Secondary School Leavers in Katowice took place from September 26 to 27, 2023.
