Silesian University of Technology at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP)
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will perform for the 32nd time. As every year, the orchestra will be supported by the Silesian University of Technology.
WOŚP will play on Sunday, January 28th. The slogan for this year's finale is: “Lungs after the pandemic. We play for children and adults! “. On this occasion, there will be no shortage of attractions at the Gliwice Market Square: concerts, auctions and shows.
Beginning at 12.00.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be supported by the Silesian University of Technology. We will be waiting for you at the Market Square from 12 p.m. During the event, the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering will present a train simulator, the Silesian Phoenix Student Science Club will present a Mars rover, and PolslRacing will present its racing car.
In addition to concerts, there will be auctions on the main stage. Those interested will also be able to bid on a university sweatshirt donated by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology.
The Biotechnology Centre of the Silesian University of Technology decided to put up for auction a tour of their laboratories. During the tour you will be able to, among others: learn the secrets of scientists' work.
The Volunteer Centre of the Silesian University of Technology will house the WOŚP staff, prepared by students of the Academic Secondary Comprehensive School of the Silesian University of Technology. The money will be collected by 60 volunteers, but you can support the Orchestra now by donating to the virtual piggy bank: eSkarbonka (wosp.org.pl) .
We invite you to the stand of the Silesian University of Technology on the market square in Gliwice - there will be university gadgets, representatives of the Academic Dance Ensemble of the Silesian University of Technology "Dąbrowiacy" in beautiful costumes and many other attractions.
