Silesian counter-terrorists and scientists from the Silesian University of Technology cooperate with each other

Pyrotechnics from the Katowice branch of the Silesian Police SPKP and scientists from the Silesian University of Technology trained together in the field of recognition and neutralization of explosives.

In April, the employees of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Silesian University of Technology once again assisted in the training of the security services.

The training program included analyses of cargo components, simulations of explosions and practical detonations – including the load placed in the vehicle. The training took place in the Gliwice district, in the area designated for the destruction of hazardous materials.
