Scientists of the Silesian University of Technology are winners of the Silesian Science Award
Dr hab. Eng. Sebastian Student, prof. of Silesian University of Technology, dr hab. Eng. Grzegorz Sierpiński, prof. SUT and MSc. Eng. Justyna Mika became the winners of the Silesian Science Award 2022. The award was presented on March 18th during the SSA (Silesian Science Award) gala.
Silesian Science Award presented as part of the 6th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE, is awarded to artists, researchers, scientists and creators who significantly contribute to the development and promotion of Silesian science.
Out of 40 nominees in three categories (i.e.: employee, doctoral student, Special Award of the President of the City of Katowice) there were 15 women and 25 men. Among the winners there were three scientists from the Silesian University of Technology.
Dr hab. Eng. Sebastian Student, prof. SUT received an award in the employee category, dr hab. Eng. Grzegorz Sierpiński, prof. SUT - Special Award of the President of the City of Katowice, while MSc.
