Scientists from the Silesian University of Technology on the list of top 100 women in engineering

Four female scientists from the Silesian University of Technology are on the list of TOP 100 Women in Engineering in Poland. In this group there are Prof. Anna Chrobok, Dr Eng. Marcelina Jureczko, Dr Hab. Eng. Katarzyna Turoń, Dr Eng. Agata Wijata.  

The Perspektywy Education Foundation has launched the initiative “Top 100 Women in Engineering in Poland”. Its aim is to highlight the role of women who shape the future of engineering in Poland and abroad. The program aims not only to honour exceptional female engineers, but also to inspire future generations of women to pursue careers in engineering and break existing stereotypes.

The culmination of the initiative will be the Excellence in Engineering Awards Gala, during which 10 best engineering women in Poland will be awarded. The Excellence in Engineering Award will be presented during the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit event, which will take place in Warsaw on June 4-5 , 2025.
