We cordially invite you to participate in the Scientific Picnic organized at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology, which will take place on the 16th of November 2024 from 10:00-13:00.

Enter the fascinating world of science and technology! During this unique workshop, you will learn the secrets of 3D printing, see how you can print bone models that help doctors plan operations, and test your knowledge of your bone system. You will also learn how to use fruit to generate electricity to power a small light bulb or diode and discover how our body leaves unique heat traces visible in the thermal camera. Test your detective skills by analysing fingerprints and other traces to solve CSI-style puzzles. You will also have the chance to try laparoscopic sewing like a real surgeon, and in the Crazy Scientist's Studio you will perform fascinating experiments that will reveal to you the secrets of chemistry, physics and more. Finally, a reward for persistent minds. 

Participation in the event is a unique opportunity to explore the secrets of biomedical engineering and have fun at the same time!
 
As part of the event, you will be able to participate in the following activities:
