Scientific Conference “Safety of work in the world of modern technologies”
The Regional Labour Inspectorate in Katowice, in cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology, invites you to participate in the scientific conference “Safety of work in the world of modern technologies.” The event will take place on the 18th of March 2026 and will be an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience between representatives of public administration, scientific community and practitioners dealing with occupational safety and health.
The conference is part of the thematic cycle “VISION ZERO – From Awareness to Action,” which focuses on the prevention of work-related accidents. The aim of the event is to create a platform for discussion on accidents at work, including in particular effective methods of accident prevention, principles of occupational risk assessment, safety of work with machines and the participation of employees in raising safety standards and working conditions.
The dynamic development of automation, robotization and digitization of work processes affects the change of the nature of occupational hazards and the ways of their identification and reduction. The conference will be devoted to the analysis of the impact of modern technologies on work safety, with particular emphasis on the need to adapt technical, organizational and employee competences to the changing work environment.
The conference will take place on the 18th of March 2026 from 9.00 in the Education and Congress Centre (Aula A, 18B, Konarskiego Street, 44- 100 Gliwice).
