Science Popularization Centre in the group of finalists of the competition Popularizer of Science 2021

We already have a list of finalists of the competition Popularizer of Science 2021. The Science Popularization Centre at the Silesian University of Technology is placed among them in the Institution category.

Nearly 80 applications were submitted for the 17th edition of the Popularizer of Science competition. The jury selected 23 finalists who are nominated for the award this year.

Winners of the 17th edition of the competition will be announced at the end of November 2021. At that time the winners of the final categories will be awarded: Scientist, Animator, Team, Institution, Media. Also the laureate of the main prize - the person who will be awarded with the title of Popularizer of Science 2021 will then be announced.

The Popularizer of Science competition has been organised since 2005 by the Science in Poland service of the Polish Press Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science. It is the oldest and most prestigious competition in Poland, which rewards scientists, media people, institutions and social activists whose passion is to share knowledge and reveal the secrets of modern science to people not associated with the academic environment.
