The SUT Science Popularization Centre invites you to actively participate in the 26th Science Picnic organized by Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre. The event will take place on May 27th , 2023 at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.
This year, the 26th Science Picnic of the Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre will be held on site. To submit an activity (in the form of a show, stage show, workshop or stand), complete the registration form by November 13th, 2022. Coordinators of shows qualified for the event at the Silesian University of Technology stand, CPN will inform about this fact by November 16th.
The Science Picnic is the largest open-air science event in Europe, the aim of which is to disseminate knowledge from various scientific disciplines through experiments, shows and demonstrations addressed to recipients of all age groups. In previous years, the representation of the Silesian University of Technology, which included scientists, doctoral students and students of the University, took part in the Science Picnic of the Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre, and in each edition of this event it was highly rated in terms of content. Therefore, Polish Radio and CSC invited our University to cooperate on this event for the sixth time.
Next year's theme of the Picnic will be held under the slogan "SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTIONS - COPERNICUS AND OTHERS". This is an incredible opportunity to present a science that requires courage in thinking and acting in line with the Copernican revolution, including inventions, technologies and research that change our everyday lives.
