Science and Business Festival "Patent for Profit"
From 26th to 27th April 2023, the Science and Business Festival "Patent for Profit" will take place. The event is organized by the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology as part of the celebration of the World Intellectual Property Day.
The aim of the festival is to disseminate scientific achievements and the idea of commercialization of research results, as well as patent protection of the best solutions in the new technology sector and other industries in the socio-economic environment.
During the festival, a conference will be organized at the seat of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, during which the presentation of research results, exchange of views on modern trends in technology transfer and the conclusion of the competition "Innovation Leader of the Silesian University of Technology" will take place.
The second day of the event will be devoted to promoting the scientific and research achievements of the Silesian University of Technology and disseminating knowledge about intellectual property and patent protection in the socio-economic environment of Gliwice. This part of the event will take place outdoors at the Silesian University of Technology Employees Club. A sports competition "Patent to win" and a play zone for children are planned. The culmination of the event will be a concert, which will be an informal opportunity to strengthen scientific and business relations.
The Science and Business Festival "Patent for Profit" received funding from the state budget under the Excellent Science program.
