Scholarships of the Minister of Science for the most talented students of the Silesian University of Technology
The Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded scholarships to students for significant scientific, artistic or sporting achievements. They were awarded to 386 students, among them there were 18 laureates from the Silesian University of Technology.
Candidates from all over Poland were assessed by a team of experts representing various fields of science and art. Out of 1048 applications meeting the conditions for receiving the scholarship, the Minister of Science awarded the scholarship to 386 students, including:
- 309 scholarships for scientific achievements
- 35 scholarships for sports achievements
- 26 scholarships for artistic achievements
- 16 scholarships for mixed achievements (scientific and artistic).

The amount of the scholarship is 17 thousand PLN. In total, in the academic year 2023/2024, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education will allocate over PLN 6.5 million for this purpose.
