Scholarship program "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine"
The Perspektywy Education Foundation and Intel - as part of a long-term cooperation to increase the participation of women in the new technologies industry - are launching the second edition of the scholarship program for girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" scholarship program is aimed at Ukrainian female students, doctoral students and graduates of secondary schools (starting technical studies in autumn 2023) studying in Poland , who are in a difficult material / life situation due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The program includes:
– 10-month financial scholarship in the amount of PLN 12,000 gross (paid in two instalments), – technical and soft skills workshops with Intel Technology Poland experts, – career counselling sessions and participation in the mentoring Buddies Program, and free participation in Perspektywy Women in Tech 2024 - the largest event for women in STEM, Tech & IT in Europe and Asia.
The “New Technologies for Women - Ukraine” program can be applied for by those who meet the following criteria:
- Ukrainian students and doctoral students studying at Polish technical and general universities in STEM fields ( list of universities and fields of study ),
- secondary school graduates from Ukraine, starting studies in the STEM area in the academic year 2023/2024,
- candidates should know English at a communicative level,
- have the status of a student/doctoral student throughout the next academic year,
- attach a certificate from the university confirming the status of a student/doctoral student.
Recruitment for the “New Technologies for Women - Ukraine” program is two-stage and consists of the following parts:
- STAGE I (from June 14 to August 25th , 2023) - accepting applications online via the electronic form on the Project website: www.stypendiadladziewczyn.pl/ukraine/ and formal verification of applications.
- STAGE II (until September 8th, 2023) - selection of 50 winners through a competition of applications
