The evaluation process of applications submitted as part of the first edition of the competition for interdisciplinary PBL projects, implemented as part of the “Silesian University of Technology as a Centre for Innovative Education for Sustainable Economy „project, has been completed.
The Competition Board evaluated all submitted projects in accordance with the principles set out in the “Principles and procedures for the implementation of interdisciplinary PBL projects within the project “Silesian University of Technology as the Centre for Innovative Education for Sustainable Economy.” 19 projects were qualified for the first edition of the competition, the implementation of which will take place in the winter semester of the academic year 2026/2027. The implementation of the projects will take place in teams of 4 to 6 students under the care of 2 tutors acting as facilitators of the learning process, supporting students in the analysis of the problem and organization of the team’s work.
The aim of the competition is to select projects based on real problems, the solution of which requires the cooperation of students from different fields of study and the integration of knowledge from different fields. The process of reaching a solution to the problem, and not only its final result should be an important element of the project.
We congratulate all supervisors and project teams on the qualified projects and wish them success.
