Results of the evaluation of scientific activity conducted at the Silesian University of Technology for the period 2017-2021

The Minister of Education and Science awarded the Silesian University of Technology with 2 categories A+, 7 categories A and 3 categories B+ in the evaluated disciplines.

The Silesian University of Technology has received all the decisions of the Minister of Education and Science awarding the following categories to the scientific disciplines submitted for evaluation:

Architecture and urban planning - category A
Automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies - category A
Technical information technology and telecommunications - category A
Biomedical engineering - category B+
Chemical engineering - category A+
Civil engineering, surveying and transport - category A
Materials engineering - category A
Mechanical engineering - category B+
Environmental engineering, mining and power industry – category B+
Chemical sciences - category A+
Management and quality sciences - category A
Earth and environmental sciences - category A

Pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and Science, the obtained result gives the right to confer the degrees of doctor and doctor habilitated in all the above-mentioned disciplines. We especially congratulate the category A+ in the disciplines of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Sciences.
