Researchers from the SUT again among the 2% most influential scientists
44 scientists from the Silesian University of Technology have been ranked among the most influential 2% of scientists in the world in terms of the accepted citation indicators of their publications. This is the third edition of a study launched in 2019 based on publications in the journal PLOS Biology by authors from Stanford University, Elsevier and SciTech Strategies.
The ranking includes the names of 2% of scientists ranked based on accepted indicators for the assessment of scientific output, such as Hirsch index, number of citations, Impact Factor and role and position in the list of authors. Among them, there are 44 scientists from the Silesian University of Technology in the order listed.
The ranking is divided into two lists. The first one (Table-1-Authors_career) includes the scientific output from the whole period of the scientist's professional career. The second table (Table-1-Authors_singleyr) concerns only one year - 2020.
