Yanshan University (YSU) invites students of the Silesian University of Technology to the international Summer Camp, which will take place from the 12^th to the 25^th of July 2026 in Qinhuangdao (China). The program combines academic activities in the field of electrical engineering and modern technologies with a cultural module and study trips.

This year’s edition is planned for both academic teachers and students. Participation in the Camp is an opportunity to build contacts, exchange experiences and get to know YSU laboratories and research study programmes. In the case of participation of academic staff, part of the program may be adapted to the needs of scientific seminars (joint meetings, discussions, presentations).

The program includes:

• inauguration and visiting of the campus (including the museum/history centre of the university),
• a series of cultural activities (for example calligraphy, paper cutting, seal cutting),
• specialist meetings related to modern engineering, including:

- Intelligent Control Systems and Smart Equipment 

- Brain-Computer Interface,

- Wind-Solar-Storage-Hydrogen (RES + storage + hydrogen on the way to zero-emission),

- visits and activities in laboratories/teaching centres related to electronics and "digital intelligence",

- Sino-Polish / Sino-Foreign Academic Salon – meeting/seminar with presentations and discussion.

• - cultural and study trips in the region (including Shanhaiguan + Laolongtou, Beidaihe),

- costs and benefits. 

YSU provides all participants with free accommodation and 3 meals a day.

Costs for the participant:

- air ticket (there and return),

- railway transfers Beijing - Qinhuangdao (and return),

- private expenses (optional sightseeing/attractions at the cost of the participant).

YSU plans to accept:

- 10 academic teachers – for research cooperation and exchange between laboratories – (candidates are selected by the Faculty),

- 10 students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (candidates are selected by the Faculty),

- 5 students from other Departments of the Silesian University of Technology - details of the recruitment below.
