Registration for FPGA Hackathon & Conference 2022 is in progress
Registration is underway for the third edition of FPGA Hackathon & Conference. It is an initiative that combines a 24-hour hackathon with a one-day conference on FPGA technology. The event, whose honorary partner is the Silesian University of Technology, will be held on November 25th – 27th in Krakow.
Registration for the conference will last until November 21st, and for the hackathon - until November 7th.
The conference concerns FPGA technology, which - in a very short and simplified way - refers to the programmable logic circuit, which actually allows you to change the behaviour of the device depending on the loaded program without the need to replace "physical" elements.
The aim of the event is to integrate the scientific community with the business world, disseminate knowledge in specialized fields of science and technology related to FPGA technology, improve the qualifications of participants in the field of programming logic circuits, exchange experiences, share knowledge, popularize the latest techniques and solutions of computer science and digital electronics.
Additionally, a 24-hour hackathon gives you the opportunity to test your skills and use your knowledge in practice. - This year, we are continuing the mission on Mars, which we started in 2020 by settling on the Red Planet and then creating a new civilization. This time, the participants will create Helpers who will improve the everyday life of the inhabitants - the organizers announce.
Teams of 2-3 people can take part in the hackathon. You can apply individually, and the organizers will select a team from among the applications. You need basic knowledge of FPGA technology and your own computer. The organizers and sponsors of the event provide the necessary software to solve the tasks.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
