On March 28th, 2025, the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice hosted recruitment workshops, the aim of which was to better prepare students for their future roles on the labour market.
The meeting was divided into two blocks – the first under the name “the Power of Women in Transport” dedicated to women, and the second was a public workshop for other students. As part of the meetings, participants had the opportunity to learn about the approach to recruitment used by Alstom recruitment specialists Magdalena Honisz-Mosny and Joanna Malarczyk and Planning Specialist Aneta Juretko.
The participants of the workshops learned, among others, what the recruitment process looks like, what innovations are used in current recruitment approaches, how to professionally create a CV and what it is worth knowing before the recruitment interview, how to prepare for it and what skills one should have to multiply the chance for employment. Each workshop participant received a commemorative certificate.
The event was implemented within the Priority Research Area 4: Smart cities and mobility of the future. The initiator and organizer of the meeting was Dr Hab. Eng. Katarzyna Turoń, Prof. SUT.
